RESTORER GUY Gable Painter believes that "everything can be saved". A meticulous and obsessive home restoration expert, he pushes his limits each time to impress his clients. The projects Gable takes on vary in scale and level of difficulty - from redecorating a historic 1840's suite to restoring a kitchen to its 1920's style to completely remodeling historic mansions, no two projects are the same.
The RESTORER GUY and his crew set to work, quite literally giving old homes a new lease on life. But things aren't as easy as the floorplans make them out to be. The colossal task of restructuring an 1895 Victorian Mansion, a large single family home, into nine separate units takes a toll on Gable mentally and emotionally as he has to contend with depleting funding and his crew's unruly behaviour. Gable is approached to complete a restoration project at an 1824 Tudor Revival mansion on historic Monument Avenue - one of the country's grandest and most unaltered boulevards. Success in this project is critical as this could potentially lead to more restoration jobs on Monument Avenue.
