Nineteen-year-old Flick's daily routine is one without work, its rhythm determined by the opening time of the local bar. Flick is a good-for-nothing who will never be anything else because his father was the same at his age and nobody expects anything else from him. The alcohol that is the daily bread in their derelict household has destroyed all traces of family affection. An encounter with an older woman offers an opportunity for change, but if you're used to living without self-esteem or a vision of the future, it isn't easy to escape your own shadow. Skunky Dog is a raw story with traces of subtle humour. (Karlovy Vary International Film Festival)

angol (50th KVIFF) An ordinary, unoriginal, but fairly well made short about a young Irish homeless lad who’s got nothing better to do than hanging out at pubs the whole day. 50 % ()
