Late Joseon period. Talented rising star Feng Shui master Park Jae-sang (Cho Seung-woo) finds himself on the wrong side of a murderous royal plot with a fateful rebuke of the lead Feng Shui master’s recommendation for a burial plot for the recently deceased king. As a consequence his wife and child are murdered before his eyes and he is banished to the countryside. 13 years later, the plot of the scheming Kim clan appears to be coming to fruition. The murdered king’s young son is now the king himself, and is under the control of clan leader Kim Jwa-guen who has consolidated power and taken over the court. The young king’s uncle, in an effort to expose Kim Jwa-geun’s treasonous plotting, seeks out Park Jae-sang and endears him to assist. But when Park returns to the capital, he finds that a much greater plot is underway, one that will determine the future of both the royal line and the country. (Hawaii International Film Festival)
