angol For someone who wanted to pick up my feet and run out of the cinema during that first scene in the car, I ended up enjoying the film. In fact, if Kohák had been silent the entire time during those first few minutes, it would have been funnier. Believe it or not, before the transformation, the life of a teacher and his music-playing wife was a lot funnier than that of the thief Simona herself wants to get into the yoke. After the transformation, it's fun on both fronts. Sokol is having a blast and comes across as a natural. Etzler scores points too, giving me probably one of the biggest fits of laughter since I was a teenager. I'm just not sure about Nárožný. A stronger 3 stars. ()

angol I quite like Mr. Nárožný, but casting him in the role of a dangerous mobster was the casting mistake of the year. Otherwise, the directing and screenplay cannot be described as anything other than dilettantism. Everything from the acting to the editing and music is pathetic, and I can't think of anything I can highlight as at least a little bit positive. Maybe only Mr. Čtvrtníček and Mr. Steindler. But they can't really save the film by being onscreen for just a few minutes. ()

angol This seems to be an authentic Czech controversial film because the ratings of the users I follow cover almost the entire scale. A one-star rating was missing, but I quickly fixed that, and now it's complete. The humor was there, but the creators pushed it too much, to the point of wearing it thin. However, there were still moments here and there that made me laugh, so the film wasn't a complete flop, even though the screenwriter tried. Jakub Kohák has become a symbol of low quality for me; however, Ondřej Sokol balanced the situation. I didn't like him until recently, but I have become quite fond of his cheeky face. / "Those who won't bring anything tomorrow won't see the Big Bang." / Lesson learned: If you want to see mind triumph over matter, you will like this film. angol It's neither fatty nor salty, but it's actually quite an average comedy that just shows we don't have many good ideas for stories anymore, this is pretty cliché, but we still have a sense of humor and there is definitely something to laugh at in this film. Koháka is sometimes a bit too much, but here his stupidity is quite fine. ()
