A madarak még mindig dühösek. Madársziget boldog lakói, és köztük a három jómadár, Piros, Chuck és Bomba mindig jót akar, és jó kedvre vágyik, de valami folyton közbejön, ami miatt kénytelenek csúzlit ragadni, és nagy dúlva-fúlva harcba szállni. Csakhogy ezúttal nem a szokásos ellenfeleik miatt feszülnek a csúzligumik: egy másik szigeten ugyanis fészkel valaki, aki legalább olyan nagy bombákat dob, és legalább olyan jól céloz, mint bármelyik malacharcos: és bár egyikük sem érzi emiatt túl jól magát, malacok és madarak kénytelenek összefogni – ám a béke legalább annyi kalamajkát okoz, mint eddig a háború. Although the second installment of Angry Birds is similar in style to number one, it is slightly better. Just like before, the humor didn't quite work for me, as it was obviously intended for younger audiences, so I laughed only occasionally. Things were improved by the new mission and cooperation with their arch enemies.

The Angry Birds Movie 2 tries to do nothing more than entertain, especially the kids, as there are not many adult jokes and innuendos. The whole plot is basically one big cliché with little to surprise, but it flows along nicely and for the trio of birds on an egg hunt, the bird disguise and the soundtrack full of well-known hits, the film deserves the average three stars.

I watched it half-heartedly between three screaming kids, but the scene in the toilet where the guard gets pissed on and then smashed against the sink and urinal with his access card really got to me.
