Nerdy middle schooler Tommy is forced take care of a baby dinosaur after his cloned science fair project hatches early. He quickly begins to think of the creature not only as a pet, but also as a friend. But when the dinosaur escapes on the day of the fair, Tommy must figure out a way to get the creature back before greedy grown-ups get to him first. (Showtime)

Although it's an incredibly predictable film with hardly any original ideas, just a children's film where everything is black and white, I have to highlight one thing, and that's the use of an animatronic dinosaur puppet. Sure, not in all the scenes, but at least in the details, that made me very happy.
