American pharmacist Martin and Spanish physical therapist Gabi meet late one night in Los Angeles through a popular dating app. Both of them were just looking to hook up, but their casual sex is so good that commitment becomes part of the picture. I understand that this film is actually trying to say how complicated relationships are, and that it's mostly because we make them complicated for ourselves. But even though the actors were well chosen, I didn't enjoy Hoult and Costa was so irritating that I was hoping it would turn into a slasher and she would die... Unfortunately, the genre didn’t suddenly change.
