Pavel Klega is almost second year on his trip around the world. One month he lived in Siwa Oasis that is in the western part of the country close to Libyan border. Originally he wanted to stay there for one week and carry on. Oasis enchanted him that much so he stayed entire month. He did not want to leave at all however he had to go to extend his visa. Siwa attracted him because of berber tribes that live there and thanks to long-term isolation still differ from rest of Egypt. Siwa is one of the most visited oasis in Egypt. Even though Siwans live in the brick houses he felt they live like a tribe. According to Siwan tradition a strange man cannot enter a house thus traveller worked in two restaurants in order to be to Siwans as close as possible and get to know them well. One day he also helped in bazar or in bike rental. It was not a hard work because nobody works too much in Siwa. The highlight of his stay was visit of wedding that lasts in Siwa 3 days. He missed dancing night down to cultural misunderstanding. Nevertheless he experienced traditional cow slaughtering and third day visited palm grove where Siwan sat in circle, played musical instruments and sang folklore songs. He joined there a group smoking hashish. He smoked the same amount like everybody else. He was paralysed whereas everybody else was fine. (Mezinárodní festival outdoorových filmů)
