I had some quibbles with the first season. The fusion of comedy and drama just didn't do it for me, so I didn't enjoy it as much as I could have. The second season was quite the surprise. I don't know if I was just in the right mood for it or if the creators stepped up their game regarding the mixture of humor and depression, but I had a lot more fun this time. Phoebe Waller-Bridge gave an excellent performance again, and I also liked Andrew Scott, who seemed to be really enjoying the role of a priest. A clear improvement.
