Boldogság a földből (2019) (S03E02)
Perhaps it's premature to say, but this seems like the weakest season of the series. There are moments when it feels like the Goliath I know, with its tension and humor, but then it veers into mystical, hallucinogenic oddity. There were even times when I found myself slightly bored, which is rare for me with Billy McBride.

It seems the creators have completely abandoned the path they set in the previous two seasons. Gone are the intricate legal intrigues. Instead, they've opted for a mysterious storyline with attempts at tension that fall horribly flat. 3*-

It's a shame how this series has changed... The creators seem to have delivered an entirely pointless episode; anyone paying attention could easily deduce the significant points from the previous plot, while the insignificant details are just that — insignificant. If I were lying in bed staring at the wall for forty minutes, I'd probably use that time more effectively.

Argus 2.: Az Aréna (2019) (S03E05)
The fifth episode showed a slight improvement from the previous one, but it didn't quite win me over. The confrontation between Anton and Stephania was a disaster, and Billy McBride's recurring hallucinations are starting to grate on me. I'm honestly just looking forward to this season wrapping up. 3*-

Fer-De-Lance (2019) (S03E06)
I've already said goodbye to Goliath as I knew it in the last two seasons. Being a realist, I know the writers most likely meet up at the casino, where Joe Littlecrow always has some new machine gun experience waiting for them before they put together the next plot. However, it was still the best of the last four episodes. Just two more to go.

Amidst my low expectations for the third season, the creators surprised me with an episode that brought back memories of their better moments. They ditched the hallucinations and mystique for a proper legal battle, and suddenly the series had its spark again.

Örömrészleg (2019) (S03E08)
The writers must have used up all their creative energy in the previous successful episode, because they returned to their rather weak standard. The intensity was gone, and to make matters worse, there was an almost fairytale-like resolution to several plotlines. Needless to say, I was far from satisfied.
