A series with an interesting theme and a high-quality cast which was unfortunately slightly unbalanced. From the fourth episode on, I was decently entertained, even thrilled when watching the seventh and eighth episode. The slow and boring start, stretching over the first three episodes, was a real shame. But I decided to hang in there and was eventually rewarded with better quality writing and a well-executed plot. One thing that worked from start to finish was the intense, grim atmosphere. (2018.11.11)

The first episode left me with mixed feelings. I was immediately captivated by the interesting atmosphere, the story's theme, and the flashbacks that explained a lot. However, what disappointed me was the pace. The plot of the first part was desperately slow, which gave me time to think about many other things, and I do not enjoy that in movies and series. I gave three stars for a really strange, claustrophobic atmosphere and for an interesting relationship between the mother and daughter, otherwise I had nothing else to be happy about. The pace of the story remained slow, so it would easily be beaten by a snail race over a hundred meters, there isn't much to talk about in terms of plot, but at least I had time to think about what I'll give to whom for Christmas this year. There have been no changes for the better or worse compared to the previous episodes, actually there couldn't have been, because nothing really happened the whole time. The series has an interesting cast, well-developed characters, a captivating theme, and a high-quality atmosphere, in other words, a clear five-star package. The problem is that without a plot, all the calculated positives are... meaningless, so the main impression I currently have from what I've seen so far is that the series was sponsored by a distillate producer. Aha, so the improvement happened in the previous episode. I thoroughly enjoyed the fifth episode, especially the relationship between the mother and daughter, but this time the celebration of Calhoun's day got me as well, the gathering there was perfect. However, I completely agree with the beaver and his opinion on the number of episodes. (2018.11.09)

Interesting, three episodes were boring and dragged on endlessly, but the next three actually caught my attention, even though the story still doesn't go anywhere. The difference I found was that episodes 1-3 simply lacked a plot, but things started to move (slowly, but still) from the fourth part, and unexpectedly, I caught myself enjoying it. (2018.11.10)

The fifth episode was the first one for me that picked up pace. Although there were still many scenes with long and short car rides, things were happening, or being solved, and I finally felt that the story was getting to the important matters. I am curious to see how the creators will wrap everything up, and as I have mentioned several times before, it is a pity about the first three boring episodes. (2018.11.10)

The final episode did not disappoint me, even though I was expecting a similar development after the previous episode. I was intrigued by how the story suddenly transformed from a lazy plot into a gripping psychothriller that I truly enjoyed.
