angol After the first two (still relatively serious) works of this surprisingly popular C-quality saga, the creators finally decided to follow the path of absurdly insane, reckless stupidity, which no longer takes itself seriously whatsoever, which of course helps the series. The sharks in space from the third film have been defeated, and this time we get to see a lavanado, oilanado, cownado, firenado and a radioactive lightningnado, which of course needs to go through Niagara Falls to wash away the radioactivity. There is no logic to any of it, but at least something is always happening and it's so demented at this point that it's quite fun to watch - if you can get past the general amateur and non-artistic aspects, including the directing, the level of tricks, and the acting. angol Ian Ziering is simply great in his role and I'm just looking forward to what he will have to face again and again, or how he will be saved himself. Here's the final really great nonsense. But it also stands on other actors who are excellent in their B-movie roles. Tara Reid is also fully associated with this series, but David Hasselhoff also belongs here. And since we're talking about "Baywatch," Gena Lee Nolin and Alexandra Paul, who you will know well from this 90s series, will also appear in the film. For a fan of B-movie nonsense, this is still a delight. ()

angol In the fourth installment, CGI reached its peak in the scene where a shark was eliminated on the bench. I replayed the scene three times before I believed what I was seeing, or rather what I wasn’t. Then I spent ten minutes trying to survive a fit of laughter the likes of which I hadn't experienced in quite a while. The makers of this travesty seemed to have reacted to audience feedback and tried to pretend that the comedy was intentional, hence the references to The Wizard of Oz, Terminator, Iron Man and Baywatch, but the fact remains that once again, the most hilarious scenes were those that hadn’t been intended for laughs. I couldn't figure out if they were really serious about: sharknado, sandnado, rocknado, oilnado, firenado, lavanado, cownado and nukeado. My suspicion is that they were dead serious, and here goes one star for the unintentional humor. ()
