The plot of the third episode takes the path of various investigations. The sheriff, Mike's gang, and Nancy are all involved in these investigations, and it becomes apparent that at least one of them cannot bring a positive result. It's a pity that Winona Ryder plays Will's mother, as this character could have been one of the most interesting, but given the current situation, I always hope that the scene with her will quickly end.
