A gazda

A dog Popi and monkey Huhuu are waiting for their Master to come home who is just one day not coming any more. From this particular day, there starts their mutual life. Popi, being actually smarter and stronger capitulates in front of monkey’s whims symbolizing with it his obedience and subservientness. At the other hand, Huhuu symbolizes licentiousness and silliness. This is verity, more phantasmal than a dream and more dreadful than truth. (Estonian Film Institute)
