Mar de amor

A typical South American soap opera. Full of bright colors and very dumb. I did get to laugh out loud a lot, but in places where such a reaction probably wasn’t intended. I was in fits of laughter whenever things escalated into a dramatic or heartbreaking scene. The funniest moments came when a villain gazed into the camera and explained what kind of tricks he had prepared for the protagonists and how he was looking forward to the success of his ruse. It was such exemplary stupidity that I couldn't help laughing, followed by a negative reaction from those in charge of the remote who were actually enjoying the plot. (2017.01.04)
