"Suburban Gothic" is a fairly enjoyable horror comedy that doesn't have the best verbal humor, but the situational comedy is quite good. And it's all saved by well-written characters. The film at times reminds me of something the Farrelly brothers could have easily made in their better years. It's nicely offbeat and for a story that isn't very original, I quite enjoyed it. So, for me, it's a slight above-average.
