Africa paradis

Set in a future in which Africa has become a paradise and Westerners are desperate to immigrate, Olivier and Pauline, a French engineer and a teacher, decide to immigrate to Africa in search of a better life. When they are denied an entry visa, they ask for a smuggler’s help and have to face the realities of illegal immigration. Olivier runs away from the transit camp where they have been locked up, and manages to get hold of a visa. Pauline becomes a maid for a rich family. (Morelia International Film Festival)
