A three-hour ticket to the Jamaica Inn, located in the middle of the moors on the plains far in the east of England. Straight from the beginning I got floored by the location, because even though I like pubs, I would be afraid to set my foot in this one. And even if I got drunk on some local ale in there, I cannot imagine being able to find my way home in that inhospitable countryside. I would sooner die behind the first bush right outside the pub, especially considering what was happening there. I have to say at the beginning I was a bit bewildered by the pub, similar to Mary herself. The second episode calmed things up a bit and the third one provided an interesting climax.
