Claire-nek sajog mindene. Teste fájdalma eléggé nyilvánvaló a hegekből, melyek a testét fedik és abból, ahogy vonszolja magát, beleremegve minden egyes bizonytalan lépésbe. Hasonlóan gyengén rejtegeti az érzelmi fájdalmakat is. Szinte minden szavával valamilyen perzselő átkot szór környezetére. Elmarta maga mellől a férjét és a barátait is, még a fájdalommal élők támogatócsoportjából is kirúgatta magát. Az egyetlen, aki még megmaradt Claire egyébként teljesen remete életében, a házvezetőnője, Silvana, aki azonban már alig tudja tolerálni főnöke alkohol és nyugtatók iránti csillapíthatatlan vágyát. Ám Claire egyik társának a fájdalommal élők támogatócsoportjából, Ninának öngyilkossága felfedi egy másik szenvedélyét is. Ahogy Claire szép lassan beilleszti magát Nina férje és fia életébe, lehet, hogy végül megtalálja a megváltást. (PARLUX Entertainment)

I found myself deeply connecting with the main character's emotions, even though our diagnoses may differ; we cripples just understand each other :-) Jennifer Aniston delivered a wonderful performance. Unlike many viewers, I was thoroughly entertained throughout the entire film, as much as I would be watching an action-packed movie. The creators managed to (quite surprisingly for me) avoid melodrama and accurately captured the essence of us cripples – we may lack many things, but our biting sarcasm and, for the luckier ones among us, cynicism, are always intact. / Lesson learned: Don't rely too much on pills; sometimes, a chat with a possum is all you need.

If only the film wasn't narrated so mysteriously the whole time, as if there is some great revelation waiting for you at the end, I would give it a much higher rating, but its inconsistency leaves me with no other option. The acting is good, but it needs to stop playing something that isn't actually there for the audience.
