The director, together with an actor, a real nephew of Jamie Guzman, stage parts of a play, which they created two years ago, for the film. Reality thus blends with the theatre performance and the film to create a new, complex piece of art. The painful history, which still affects Chilean society, is reflected in a documentary style, which contrasts with emotionally tense passages of the play. A major part of the film is dedicated to the creation and production of the play itself. Historical facts and more general topics thus remain slightly inaccessible to an uninformed viewer. (Febiofest)
