The penguin seems to be getting better with every episode, on the other hand, Theo Galavan still doesn't sit well with me and the historical excursion into his family's past didn't interest me at all. I would say that the creators have slightly overdone it, whereas the opening episodes of the second season were great, the plot slightly declines after Jerome's death.
