Atlántida

It is a hot summer day in a rural Argentinian village, plagued by draught. Two sisters Elena and Lucia are home alone. Elena's ankle is in cast, so she is unable to fight the heat at the local swimming pool and gossip with her schoolmates. She becomes curious about the young doctor, handsome Ignacio. Lucia goes swimming in the morning and studies hard, in hopes of going to university in Buenos Aires. Later she meets Ana, a quiet girl, with whom she is forming a special bond. The night comes and the long-awaited storm is finally approaching. (Febiofest)
