He is a little man, only 10 cm tall. He is not a gnome but a Wiplala. Wiplala can tinkle (which in his language means "magic")', but he keeps forgetting how tinkling works exactly and it does not work out all right many times. His most disastrous tinkle act is when he transforms father Blom, daughter Nella Della and son Johannes into little people (10 cm tall). An exciting adventure begins. The family comedy film is quite good and I'm glad that there are also classic tricks, not just digital ones, although those obviously have an advantage. The story is quite simple, but thanks to the magic, it's... well, magical. It once again shows that good films are made everywhere, and this time I'm glad I gave a chance to a Dutch one.
