A 11 éves Stet nehéz időszakát éli, amit tovább nehezít édesanyja váratlan halála. A fiú zabolázatlan természete mögött tanára azonban látja a tehetséget.

angol This story of a boy who, from a position of rebellion, achieves the highest goals with a considerable amount of self-sacrifice, is not exceptional. It basically doesn't matter if it's music, sports, or anything else. Boychoir strictly adheres to a pre-defined pattern, causing the film to fall into uninteresting mediocrity, from which it does not emerge even through the presence of the acting stars involved. I would imagine the musical numbers to be somewhat more digestible for the average viewer, although I myself was carried away several times by the melodious tones emanating from the talented young men's throats. angol At first glance, a boys’ choir isn’t a topic that would interest everyone. But for me, jazz in Whiplash was the same thing. However, after I was done watching Whiplash, I was completely knackered out, but after this movie, I just felt that there wasn’t anything inherently good or bad about it. Just very average with the whole choir flare. ()

angol Undoubtedly nice and not bad in any way, but there is nothing that sets it apart from countless similar movies. I mean, apart from the fact that the story takes place in boys' choirs. Although... It is not something that sets it apart, as the French did the same thing ten years ago and it was more stylish and by far better, both in terms of cinematography and music. And despite the fact that they made something that had been made before a hundred times, they were at least successful in terms of raising emotions. The chants here sound nice, but it's as reserved and cold as a polar night. And for a similar type of film, it's simply the last nail in the coffin in the same was as for an action movie without any action. ()
