Dave Skylark (James Franco) és producere, Aaron Rapaport (Seth Rogen) „Skylark Tonight" névre hallgató talkshow-ja hihetetlen népszerûségnek örvend. Mikor megtudják, hogy Kim Dzsongun, Észak-Korea teljhatalmú vezetõje nagy rajongója a show-nak, gyorsan lezsíroznak vele egy interjút, hátha végre az újságíró szakma is komolyan veszi õket. Miközben Dave és Aaron arra készülnek, hogy átruccanjanak Phenjanba, hirtelen megváltozik a szitu, mikor a CIA felbérli õket, hogy a világ talán legalkalmatlanabb jelöltjeiként „rendezzék le" Kim Dzsongunt. angol I couldn’t care less about how it’s shot, or if there’s scatological humor, or how the film is affected by the interplay of light and shadow or whatnot. I just wanted to see something I could have a good laugh at, and I got exactly that. Granted, the jokes are far from sophisticated, I know what kind of humor to expect from Seth Rogen, but I sure laughed. Seth Rogen and James Franco have excellent chemistry together, it's fast-paced and it's fun! ()

angol "Grandpa got it from Stalin." - "In our country we pronounce it Stallone." I honestly didn't expect such a good comedy and I tip my hat to the filmmakers for not just riding the wave of poking fun at Kim Jong-un all the time (although of course that's what they're all about), but that in fact a lot of the good jokes are not about him. I'm also glad that it went pretty well without feces and the only body fluid used was blood (the finger biting amused me perhaps most of all). ()

angol In a rather dumb way, pure genius. Free promotion doesn’t make The Interviewer any better a movie, but it gives it another dimension of wittiness. The Rogen/Franco duo follows up on Pineapple Express and is more or less on the same level. If you expect anything more, you’ll be disappointed. Absurd situations, often overdone humor, but the gleeful, almost childlike joy with which the whole movie is filmed makes up for that. And the finale shootout with the puppy, the slaughter with the Korean girl and the tank just super. Kate Perry is just evil. Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!" As you shoot across the sky-y-y. ()

angol A standard Franco & Rogen comedy, so, if you like their previous movies, you won’t be disappointed. At first, I was a bit put off by all the hype surrounding the movie. Having watched it, I must say that it was absolutely great. It had a great number of absolutely killer moments, be it Eminem's incredible cameo or James Franco’s amazing performance and his hilarious facial expressions. He was clearly enjoying the role of a total dumbass. There were also an incredible number of cultural references, especially to the current pop scene (Haters Gonna Hate), sarcastic remarks about American foreign policy, etc. In short, the authors managed to create a legend, hence the high rating, despite the fact that the movie had perhaps even greater potential. angol I had plenty of fun, but This Is the End was much better. Seth Rogen’s style of humour is certainly not the most sophisticated, but his comedies deliver the dialogue exchanges and the faecal jokes in such a smart way that they are very funny and as effective as possible. Sometimes that’s the case here, too, but several times I felt that it was an improv one take. This is the impression I got from the quality of the humour and not a statement that I can substantiate with anything. I also had a problem with James Franco’s character, who at times goes so full-retard to the point that he’s obviously not full-retard. ()
