A film by the government's tourism committee. It was thirty years after the war, two years after 1968, so it all starts with a short excursion to the Slavs and then on to 1945, to the liberators, to the heavens, how some cities recovered from the war wounds and to the fact that we are still more advanced, everything we do we do well, even the best... And that's the stumbling block. I just can't stand the sight of this so-called civilization and this so-called progress, which gave us beautiful cities full of boxes (like Gottwaldov), which graced us with coal mining and the plundering of Most, which irreversibly messed up so much... The shots in this propaganda documentary are valuable, yes, but from my perspective, above all, terribly sad. It is not about the propaganda "Cooperative farmers from are enthusiastically testing a new tractor of Ukrainian manufacture and are surprised to find out that in addition to driving forward they can also reverse", which we laugh at today. It is something much, much worse.__P.S. If you feel like it, try an experiment. For the documentary, turn off the sound and play the Koyaanisqatsi soundtrack. The terror and horror will arrive in short order. Guaranteed.
