Nobody comes to the "Theater of Joy" anymore, and it's on the brink of ruin. The ensemble puppets are up to their neck in hot water. But their impresario has a plan: He wants to kidnap the star and extort the ransom money so he can pay off his bills. But then, Kalle the star – and a cocaine-sniffing polar bear – turns out to be a most difficult captive: perfect chaos ensues.
