Guisado de Galinha

This lively animated music exercise about a Portuguese song was created by director Joana Toste, who belongs to the new generation of animated-film makers. She playfully depicts Portuguese clichés by means of dialogues sung in fado style. The film was made by the director's own production company GOMTCH-GOMTCH, and won the Don Quijote Award from the International Film Club Federation. The voices are by Angelo and promising young fado singer Carminho. (Summer Film School)
