A flashback to Ray and Abby's 21st anniversary when they went to Las Vegas to see Damon's first televised fight. In the present, movie star Natalie James hires Ray to protect her from an abusive husband/manager, which draws him deeper into Sam Winslow's web. Maybe it's not even the creators' fault, maybe I just couldn't tune in to their new style of presenting the story of the fifth season, but it's no longer the Ray Donovan I was used to. Firstly, the constant time jumps really annoy me, and secondly, the plot seems very slow-paced to me, the pace slows down and at times it's a bit boring.
