This is the story of a woman who, like the biblical Lilith, is not created from Adam's rib but from the same clay as Adam. An immortal femme fatale, she lives through the centuries beginning fateful relationships with men whom she first dominates and then destroys. Each historical period has a distinctive visual style, and the principle of fatality and recurrence markedly resembles Darren Aronofsky's The Fountain. (Days of European Film)
