Huge crowds of believers travelled to the small town of Penablanca between 1983-1988 to see a boy named Miguel Angel. During public shows, the Virgin Mary reveals herself to him and calls him her son. Father Ruiz-Tagle is entrusted by the Church of Chile to confirm the verity of the visions. He finds a boy who's unable to see the consequences of his deeds in his naivety. The protection of his fame can soon turn into anger and threat. The film, based on the real character of charismatic Miguel Angel, depicts the frailty of his life. (Febiofest)
