A Jeges (Ving Rhames), igaz még a börtönbüntetését tölti, de már nagyban tervezgeti az újabb kinti bűnszervezetét. Első lépése a sikerhez, hogy meggyengítik Alexander Coates (Steven Seagal) erejét, aki jelenleg az uralkodó banda vezetője és akinek a területeire fáj a Jeges foga. A terv első célpontja Hurst (Bren Foster), Alexander legjobb embere, akit egy megbízás során fog félrevezetni a Jeges. Alexander az „elkövetett hiba” miatt kénytelen lesz vele példát statuálni, hogy megtarthassa a tekintélyét a kisebb bandavezérek előtt. Hurst a fenyítés után szinte harcképtelen lesz és kénytelen elhagyni a családot, miután idővel már a Jeges is bátran a színre tud lépni, hogy elkezdhesse tervének megvalósítását, azaz leszámolni az Alexander bandával... I was hoping that Steven Seagal comes back and starts filming solid B movies again. But all he does is walking around wearing sunglasses, with hair dyed black like a raven if it was a human being. He is smart, important and I am amazed somebody is still excited about this. The only nice thing in this movie is Danny Trejo, who fits into this genre and his scene as a Mexican priest made me laugh. He simple can’t get over this type of roles. The film is an average action flick. It is better than Seagal’s other shitty movies but definitely nothing special.

How good can a film be in which one of the characters says "You have three seconds to spill everything!" and means it? Not very. Moreover, Steven Seagal is really very, er, full-bodied ("You know, I'm a dinosaur," he declares) and it would do him and us good if, like the gangster Alexander, he were going to spend the rest of his life in the Thai mountains.
