Steven Summers returns home to southern Alabama from college with his girlfriend Amanda to attend his uncle's annual Haunted Hayride. "Hayride" is a classic bad slasher film, of which there are still quite a few being made these days. In this case, it is evident that there wasn't much money, which in itself wouldn't be a problem, but it just doesn't look good. The characters are not good, they are not well acted, it's simply an attempt to build another legend, but I had the feeling that it is qualitatively almost worse than the Czech film "Hra na vraha" (Murder Game).
