Avalon

Janne, a sixty-year-old party organiser is preparing a nightclub for an annual tennis week in Båstad, a small city by the sea. His older sister Jackie is his associate. Several days before the club premiere Janne causes a catastrophic accident and his growing desperation draws him into a dark vicious circle with no escape. The film has won the FIPRESCI award for the best full-feature debut at the IFF Toronto 2011. (Fresh Film Fest)
