angol "Fourth: Revolver. Ok. Fifth: Lights out. Sixth... Well! I can't see it anymore!" A brilliant black comedy - it was only while watching it that it occurred to me that I had probably wanted to see Louis de Funès and Claude Gensac dispose of a corpse all my life. It's a great pity that The Gazebo doesn't appear on TV as often as other Funès films, that it still hasn't been released on DVD in this country, and above all that it has that ugly dubbing tag, which I think is rather unfair. I saw (on YouTube) the cursed version with Jiří Císler and I had a great time. Yes, the sound wasn't exactly great, but Císler's voice (which fortunately didn't try to imitate the inimitable František Filipovský) suited Funès perfectly. Similar to the voice of Jiří Lábus in The Cabbage Soup. "Did you help your husband dispose of a dead body?" - "Which one?" - "Stop making a fool out of me. Did you dissolve it in acid?" - “You can do that???" ()

angol The Gazebo is a truly fast-paced, madcap comedy spiced with crime, in which Louis de Funés learns the hard way that it's really difficult to get rid of a person, especially when your home is as busy as a main train station and someone is always getting in your way. The film has many funny moments and dialogue that really amused me. ()
