Rasid hagyományos arab családból származik, és a Hackney utcáin uralkodó banda tagja, London egyik etnikailag legszínesebb környékén. Rashid öccse, Mo bálványozza a bátyját, és arról álmodik, hogy követi a példáját. Ám Rasid más életet szeretne számára, és ragaszkodik hozzá, hogy inkább a tanulmányaira koncentráljon. In this film, it is extremely important that it did not try to be epic, but the whole footage is focused only on a few characters, mainly on two brothers. Their fate, their relationships, and conflicts with other people are so interesting that it holds the viewer's attention. It is not an action movie, but a truly human drama from London, which has really grim neighborhoods. Now, I don't mean because of the people, they are unpleasant even in noble neighborhoods, but I mean those ghettos with huge semi-decayed tower blocks. That in itself is such a depressing environment that it actually forces things to happen here, especially dark things.
