I’m going to need to watch a few more reruns and do some analyses, but the important thing is that it worked. :) The plot, based on the episode Comedy of Eros, is a good one, the mix of different characters fits together and the legendary subtext became the main text in a natural way. Alti as Draco's girlfriend? I don't have a problem with that. And if Cupid's arrow is on hand, it's clear where this friendship will go. But the most romantic pairing remains Xena/Hercules, and for one major branch of fans, Xena/Gabriel.
