A Gatlin nevű kisvárosba újonnan érkező Lena Duchannes (Alice Englert) hamar felkelti Ethan Wate (Alden Ehrenreich) érdeklődését. A rehash of the beginning of a generic Young Adult romp bearing the name Dangerous Creatures. The age range of 12 is a complete mistake. It is the tweens who are the target. Interchangeable in atmosphere with the opus Twilight.

Richard LaGravenese is definitely not an average or even below-average author, his "P.S. I Love You" really appealed to me. In addition, the presence of Jeremy Irons and Emma Thompson, and actually Viola Davis too, promised that the outcome might not be completely repulsive, even though the posters and the trailer created the impression that it would be something like "Twilight" crossed with "Dark Shadows". In the end, it actually is something like that, although both it and "Twilight" were stylized in pastel colors. However, it has something that the modern vampire opus lacked - humor.
