Saikou no jinsei no owarikata

I don’t go for this stuff like I used to. All those touching stories, come on squeeze some tears out of people... It stars Yamashita and Sorimachi, so I figured it would be worth it. I'm 3 episodes in and it still hasn't captivated me in the slightest. But Maeda is good here; then again, I don't like Ōno Ito at all, High School Debut was her debut as well, and so far she has yet to do anything better since. Here Yamashita's female counterpart is played by Eikura Nana and it suits her to play a detective. :-) But the story and even the episodic structure seem weak to me. A lot. Everything here has been done before, and better. I may be giving the series too harsh a rating, but compared to how I'm rating it now, it's adequate. But I suppose there will be the masses who end up loving it. Oddly enough, the better star is for the 2 actresses; and that’s how I usually rate the guys. :-D (2012.02.09)
