Hester egy felsőosztálybeli, tiszteletre méltó angol bíró felesége. Ezért is éri váratlanul környezetét, amikor öngyilkosságot próbál elkövetni. Ennek okai a múltban gyökereznek. Úgy tűnik, Hester megtalálta a boldogságát a házasságban. Ám hamarosan kiderült, hogy az asszony szabad szelleme valójában csapdába esett a minden szenvedélyt nélkülöző nászban. Hester életét felkavarja, amikor találkozik a Királyi Légierő egykori pilótájával, a problémás Freddie-vel. (DunaTV)

angol My God, this was some crazy shit. I understand that the film was made by artists for artists, but I must admit that apart from acting performances, there is nothing else I would like to praise in this film. And if I wanted to play an expert, I would say that the film strongly irritated me, but I won’t pull my punches and simply say that it pissed me off terribly. It’s hard when the depression that is the main feature of the film is created by completely inappropriate and crazy music, which would force every viewer to put a bullet in their head. Because of that music, I couldn’t even finish the movie. But if nothing else, I opened my horizons and realized that even such films could exist. If I forced myself to be objective, I’d give it two stars at least for the acting performances, but I couldn’t do it with this one, so I’m going for Boo! ()

angol Although the film is from 2011, the stylization, the cinematography and the narrative are reminiscent of films from the 1990s, which is quite a nice change. It's been a long time since I've come across a really deep, dramatic and touching romantic story that affected me in some way, and it didn't happen here either, despite the fact that the acting is very good. Maybe I prefer the classic step by step narrative where I can gradually build a relationship with the characters, where I root for them to get together and stay together. Here, by jumping from the past to the present, the portrayal of the main characters' relationship lacks momentum and then the main plot seems like a side plot... ()
