angol I loved The Greatest Love mainly because the cast exuded an incredibly positive energy and you could see how much they were enjoying filming every scene. I've never seen so many surprises and amazing cameos in one show. But no matter who else appeared, the biggest star here was without hesitation Dokko Jin, who I consider one of the best characters ever to appear in a Korean series. He has a perfect, extravagant personality and fights hard for love. And that's what audiences want in a romantic comedy, right? Hyo-jin as Ae-jung is definitely one of the better heroines too. I can only remember one situation where I didn't root for her because she did that classic stupid thing that made things unnecessarily complicated. Otherwise, she was great. I can't say that this show avoided all the clichés that regularly appear in them, but at least it didn't bore the audience with the most tired ones. I liked that the characters didn't needlessly torment each other and acted for the most part in a pretty understandable way. For an energy recharge, this piece is perfect. 4.5 stars. ()

angol A little over a month before this I saw Protect the Boss and I liked that a lot better. Here the protagonist was also a weirdo (this one maybe a bit more so), but there's a big difference in the heroines. The one in Protect the Boss was much better. With this one I was bored for most of it. And then came the end of episode 5 and the beginning of episode 6, and finally I thought yeah, this looks interesting. But even this didn't last, I didn’t even make it to the end of that 6th episode before I was bored again. The same thing, over and over again. But I'm a pretty persistent person, so I kept watching, even though I was so incredibly bored. The end of episode 10 was interesting again, and then, once again, it got boring. In the 11th episode it finally got spiced up a bit and it was pretty good, but then it got boring again. In the 14th episode, I could have cried salt tears. But why were the 15th and 16th episode so... pointless? Looking at the reviews here, a lot of people liked it; unfortunately I didn't. It bored me and even the main character got boring after a while (not to mention that he was terribly annoying and I hated him from the beginning). So for a long time I was rooting for the doctor of alternative medicine and then I didn't care who got what. The thing that amused me the most was the doctors. When they went to treat Dok with the "strongest" one in the front, like the Power Rangers (or more like the Kamen Riders :-D). And did anyone else notice that towards the end the white mobile changed to black? And even though I saw the whole thing, I kind of regret the time I spent (I could have been reading Twilight, for example; I think that would have been a better use of my time). Pretty pathetic, 2 stars for the occasional good moments. But that's my opinion; I loved the rest of the show (though I still don't know why :-D). ()
