Scream XXX: A Porn Parody

A strange blending of the worlds of parody, the original Scream trilogy, and reality. It's all along the lines of "I'm the actress who plays the actress who played the actress who played the actress in the film about the filming of the events in the first film." It’s somewhat convoluted but benign. Everyone from Evan Stone to Ron Jeremy play themselves, and unexpectedly the last thing worth mentioning is the scenes. Parodies ideally develop the possibilities of the originals, and in this one, they hint that there are people with artistic ambition in porn too (and if they switched to another genre a lot of other people would lose their jobs). The Gail Storm update is excellent. (2011.09.30)
