Le Baiser du Barbu

Benoit, an actor who's making ends meet by working as a bartender, takes some advice from his brother Frank, a retired hockey player who is now his agent: Benoit decides to grow a beard for a part in a dinner-theatre production. His girlfriend, Vicky, is opposed to Benoit's latest scheme because it threatens to delay their plan to buy a condo. But Benoit's beard seems to be magical: suddenly, he's a success. Meanwhile, Vicky is developing a mysterious allergy to her man's facial hair. (Les Films Séville)
