Tartalmak(1)

An independent love story unfolding in real time in a highly unusual place – the evangelical cemetery in Prague’s district of Strašnice, where a small group of homeless people have found refuge. Two of them, Jana and Jan, have struck up a romance and have decided to endure their bleak destiny together. At once compelling and unsettling, this sensitive documentary by director, screenwriter and journalist David Vondráček investigates the lives of people on the street. angol A rough documentary which is the only testament of people who are no longer alive today and which I can’t give a higher than three-star review because I found it at least strange that the filmmakers were following the protagonists in situations where their lives were literally at stake and they did nothing at all and kept observing only for the sake of filming a sensation. Or it may have been completely different, but the documentary doesn’t show it. Another thing is whether they were even interested in getting help. From what I saw in those 80 minutes, it doesn’t seem they were. ()

angol ♫ I’m so in love with you, whatever you want to do is alright with me. Cause you make me feel so brand new and I want to spend my life with you. ♫ He/she. Jane/John. Hand in hand on an (un)aware journey towards simple human (un)happiness... Chilling, fascinating, reminiscent of Třeštíková, and a documentary in the true sense of the word. ()

angol A harsh film about human fate that can affect you. We look at them as the dregs of society, but just watch them for a while, and you'll realize that their lives and feelings aren't much different from ours; it's just that their needs have been reduced, and yet they still lack fulfillment. As it nears the end, you find yourself questioning whether the camera should have just observed or done something more. ()
