angol The beginning didn't really excite me, but I kept going and it got better. I liked that certain section after WWII the best. It's funny, nice, melancholic, and sad. Plus, I finally got to see Kōra Kengo not playing someone deranged. The heroine is kind of a Mary Sue, but you can forgive that if you don’t overdo it by watching more than 12 episodes a day. ;-) The quality went up, down, forward, backward. But I don't think I'll ever get to any other asadora; after all, they're series of about 150 episodes. By the end I was getting annoyed with how drawn out it was, how nice and perfect everyone was, etc. It's hard to know who to recommend it to. Someone who's interested in that period in Japan? Maybe someone who wants to switch off for those 15 minutes every day. You’ll have an off switch for 156 days. ()
