Frank megbízott elnököt csinál Claire-ből, ezután nem sokkal érkezik a hír, hogy megszakadt a kommunikáció egy antarktiszi kutatóintézettel, amiben vélhetően az oroszok keze van. Eközben továbbra is úgy néz ki, hogy Franknek nem lesz meg a kellő szavazata. Conway türelme fogy és idegekkel is egyre kevésbé bírja ezt az elhúzódó helyzetet, miközben neki is képviselőket kell győzködnie, ha biztosra akar menni. For the way some of the plot lines are dissected in detail, there is a leap forward in feeling by at least 2 episodes. I even checked to see if I had skipped any episodes. A bit hard to understand, but a very sensible move for the overall concept of the fifth season, and one that certainly won't lose its suspense.

The sixth episode entertained me a bit more than the previous one, Claire Underwood achieved her goal (at least temporarily), but what I mainly liked was the humorous development of Will Conway's character, there's nothing like a balanced psyche. On the other hand, I had the impression that important matters were postponed for later, and I had to watch some irrelevant scenes.
