A film based on Eva Kantůrková's script dramatizes a secret and daring act of revenge. Set in the fifties, a young man is determined to pay the Communists back for taking away his father's hotel (where he now waits tables). Thanks to his consummate social skills, he is able to infiltrate INTO the highest Communist circles and pretend involvement in a secret mission. It all ends in a refined act of satisfaction. This is a rare collaboration between the theater director Věrčák and the very popular Kantůrková in the 1990s. Master of Ceremonies is a film that was saved by the DVD release due to zero reruns. Keep it up and don't rest on your laurels.
