Kim tizenkilenc éves fiús lány. Az egykori gördeszkabajnok azonban mostanában hamburgert süt, hogy egy kis pénzt keressen, és támogatni tudja az apját. A lány váratlan lehetőséget kap, egy alpesi síparadicsomban keresnek embereket a téli időszakra. Kim kezdetben idegenül érzi magát a gazdag emberek és a síelés világában. Szerencsére hamarosan felfedezi a hódeszkázást, ami átsegíti őt a nehézségeken. Kim előtt lehetőség nyílik, hogy benevezzen a szezonzáró nagy versenyre. Dry English humor, two Bills, a wacky Northerner, a not-so-naive lady, a not-so-blond blonde, and it's all bogged down in clichés. But why not? The mountains were beautiful: white, cold, and attentive. The mountain cabin was unattainable. The exuberance of youth was there, too. Jesus, why not? For me, a relaxing movie that didn't treat me like an idiot, and nothing here was over the top (the mother's resistance, the final reconciliation, or the snowboard drama). And if I was entertained and not bored, why not give it the 4 stars?
