Az idegen

Umay flees an abusive marriage in Istanbul and joins her family in Berlin. But her parents are unsympathetic - social stigma causes them to side with their conservative neighbors and cast out their daughter for refusing to go back to her husband. When they try to send her son back to Turkey without her, Umay is forced to move to a women`s shelter. She struggles to build a new life and retain contact with her family, but can`t escape the consequences of her actions. (forgalmazó hivatalos szövege)
