A középiskolai érettségit megelőző napon Will Kidman végre hajlandó felnézni a tankönyveiből, hogy meglássa Eliana Wynert, azt a lányt, akiért az elmúlt négy évben folyamatosan epekedett. Will mindig is visszahúzódó fiú volt, ám amikor felfedez egy sötét titkot a múltjából, miszerint egy hosszú vérvonallal rendelkező vérfarkas-család leszármazottja, a fiúnak döntenie kell: megadja magát az ősi ösztöneinek, vagy pedig szembeszáll a késztetéssel, hogy megőrizze emberi mivoltát. Even though I'm definitely not the target audience anymore, I enjoyed the movie "Howling: Reborn". Well, it doesn't even come close to average, but considering what I've seen with the latest installments in the series, this felt good. Banal plot, straightforward, that has to look cool at all costs. It's not a great piece of filmmaking, but it's also not a film that offended me in any significant way.

Somewhere along the way, the planned remake or reboot of Howling became the eighth entry in this tired horror series that I find so uninteresting that so far I’ve only watched the first one. One star for the joke in the credits that no werewolves were harmed during the making of the film. Otherwise, teenage rubbish.
